Our members portal is ready – feat. research, guidelines, policies and a member community


It has been an exciting week here at Orca Social, with Jonathan and I putting the finishing touches to our members portal (available via “Member Area” in the top menu).

It was always the plan to put this in place and now we have our founding members to start utilizing its value.

Why a members portal?
So why have a members portal in place? Well, our service isn’t traditional in the sense of a consultancy where we help our clients on one-off projects. Or in the sense of an agency which manages a social presence on behalf of the client.

Our membership is most often a continuation of the workshops we provide which help companies figure out the best way of implementing a social strategy. Its our belief that social media is something which should be managed in-house by the people who know the company best.

The best practices, which our portal contains, simply help our members get results quicker and make less mistakes to get there. It contains content including social media policies, content marketing calendar templates, dos and don’ts and company best practices.

There is also the ability to interact directly with the other members to share experiences and ask questions.
